Implant Solutions

Implant Options for Every Situation

From a single missing tooth to a full arch — we evaluate your case and walk you through every option.

Single Tooth Implant

Replace one missing tooth with a titanium implant and custom crown. The closest thing to a natural tooth — no impact on adjacent teeth.

Multiple Implants

Replace several missing teeth with individual implants or implant-supported bridges. Preserves bone, restores full function.

Full-Arch (All-on-X)

Fixed full-arch restoration on 4–6 implants. A permanent alternative to dentures — planned and placed by a prosthodontist.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Stabilize a removable or fixed denture with implants. Eliminates slipping and dramatically improves chewing function.

Bone Grafting & Sinus Lifts

When bone volume is limited, grafting can rebuild the foundation needed for implants. Often done at the same visit as placement.

Implant Restoration & Repair

Already have implants placed elsewhere? We restore, repair, and re-engineer cases referred from other providers.

Why a Prosthodontist?

The Difference a Specialist Makes

Implants aren't just a surgical procedure — they're a long-term restoration that has to function and last for decades.

A prosthodontist is one of the 7 main ADA-recognized dental specialties — and the only specialty whose entire focus is tooth replacement, implants, dentures, and full-mouth reconstruction. That's three additional years of training beyond dental school, focused specifically on the discipline of rebuilding smiles.

For straightforward cases, many general dentists place implants well. For more complex situations — multiple missing teeth, bone loss, failed previous work, full-arch reconstruction, or unusual bite issues — the specialty training matters. The plan, the surgical approach, and the final restoration all have to work together.

Dr. Asam plans and restores implants from start to finish — no handing your case off between offices. Same doctor, same team, every visit.

FAQ

Common Questions About Dental Implants

How long do dental implants last?

With proper care and maintenance, dental implants can last decades — many last a lifetime. The implant itself (the titanium post) has a very high long-term success rate. The crown or restoration on top may eventually need replacement after many years of use, similar to any other dental work.

How long does the implant process take?

It depends on your situation. A straightforward single implant can be completed in a few months from placement to final crown. Cases involving bone grafting, sinus lifts, or full-arch reconstruction take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline at consultation.

Am I a candidate for implants?

Most adults in reasonable health are candidates. Bone volume, gum health, medical conditions, and smoking can all affect candidacy — but they don't automatically rule you out. We've helped many patients who were told elsewhere they couldn't get implants. The only way to know is a proper evaluation with imaging.

I was told I have too much bone loss for implants. Can you help?

Often yes. Bone loss doesn't automatically rule out implants — it means you need expert evaluation. Depending on the situation, options may include grafting, alternative prosthetic approaches, or in some cases implants without grafting. We'll review your case honestly and tell you what's possible.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We work with most major dental insurance carriers including HDS, HMSA, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, and others. We file claims and help you maximize your benefits. During consultation we'll review your coverage and provide an honest estimate of out-of-pocket costs.

What if implants aren't the right option for me?

If implants aren't the right fit, we'll tell you. Depending on your situation, alternatives may include bridges, dentures, partial prosthetics, or hybrid solutions. Our job is to recommend the right treatment for you — not the most expensive option.

Are you part of a chain or DSO?

No. Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions is an independent, locally-owned specialty practice. Dr. Asam owns the practice and personally oversees every case. You're not rotating between providers or following a corporate sales protocol.
