These Terms and Conditions govern the SMS text messaging program operated by Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions (“PDIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the following terms.
Program Description
PDIS sends appointment reminder text messages to patients who have provided their mobile phone number and consented to receive SMS communications. Messages are automated and related to upcoming dental appointments, appointment confirmations, and recall/recare notifications.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule. Patients typically receive 1–3 messages per appointment (for example: 1 month before, 1 week before, 3 days before, and the day of the appointment).
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from PDIS. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

Supported Carriers
This program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy

Verbal Consent Script
Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions collects patient mobile phone numbers during appointment scheduling, either in person at the front desk or by phone. At the time of collection, staff read the following verbal consent script:
Staff: “Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions: We would like to send you automated text message reminders about your upcoming appointments at Pacific Dental and Implant Solutions. Message frequency is typically 1 to 3 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.”
Staff: “Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions: Do you consent to receive text appointment reminders from us?”
Patient: “Yes, I do.”
Staff: “This verbal consent is confirmed and documented in your patient record. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You can see our Privacy Policy & Terms & Conditions at https://pdishawaii.com/privacy-policy/.”
Patient consent is noted in the patient record at the time of scheduling. Patients may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message.
